The Cloud Layer in Correlate is where you can browse through and search for items stored in connected cloud accounts.
To open the Correlate Cloud Layer, all you have to do is click on one of the icons in your Cloud Bar. When opening a cloud account you can browse through the content or search and filter out the results using the search bar at the top. Click on the arrow highlighted in the screenshot below to open up the filtering dropdown menu. Keep in mind that this feature isn’t available when searching through files on Dropbox.
The filtering options are slightly different based on what cloud service your accounts are registered on. With Google Drive and Microsoft OneDrive you’re able to filter out based on date of last modification and type of item, but with OneDrive you’ll have to search for something before you can filter out the content. On Gmail you’re only able to filter based on date.
Within the Cloud Layer you can preview, open and drag&drop items into a Correlate Map so you can easily access them later.
You’re also able to rename your cloud accounts by clicking on the circled around “i” in the upper right corner of the Cloud Layer. Here you’re also able to change the subscription of your cloud account if you’re about to run out of storage.
